Lions Villa Care Home, Dublin
ArchitectsPeter Cassidy Architects Value:570,000 Renovation and upgrade of existing building with an approximate floor area of 900m2 plus the construction of a new escape stairwell. The works involved the upgrading of existing bedrooms, kitchen, main canteen and toilet facilities. The existing mechanical and electrical services were upgraded and extended to meet current regulations. The building when complete, provided modern living accommodation for the residents and staff.

Value: €1.5m The construction of a two storey building with an approximate floor area of 900m2 complete with associated siteworks and carparking. The work involved a complete new build of a building for drug rehabilitation treatment. The building was divided into various areas/facilities. Reception area, consultation rooms, holistic rooms, training rooms, family rooms, work stations/offices, kitchen, canteen, public and staff toilet facilities. The building when complete provided state of the art facilities for both carers and staff and also a safe and secure environment.
NUI Maynooth PACR Sports Hall
Architects: NUI Maynooth, Co. KildareValue:€600,000 Construction of a new extension consisting of a sports hall/lecture hall, lecture rooms and store rooms. The works involved the construction of a new 650m2 building attached to the existing hall & restaurant .The lecture hall/sports hall was 330m2 approx. of open plan and the remaining area was divided into classrooms and stores. The project was carried out in the north campus of NUI Maynooth and was situated in the public car park to the rear of the sports hall, lecture rooms and restaurant which meant we were at all times working in a live environment.
Credit Union, Finglas

Description: TEEU, (Technical Electrical Engineering Union) Renovation of an existing 5 Storey Georgian house built in the 1760's with a floor area of 1800m2 complete with new basement and glazed staircase and lift shaft. The works involved the complete upgrade of the existing building into modern functioning offices. Removal of asbestos floor tiles, flues and WC cysterans.

Description: The works involved the complete refurbishment of the existing building to form modern offices for the Oireachtas, including the formation of new toilet and canteen facilities. Restoration and repair of existing lime plaster walls and ceilings and cornices and ceiling roses. Timber floors were up graded for both acoustics and fireproofing. Internal joinery consisted of upgrading existing doors and new doors sets to match existing, new skirting and dados etc. Complete new Mechanical and Electrical services were installed including data, security and CCTV etc. A new lift was installed along with a new lift shaft.
Merrion Fleet, Sandyford, Dublin

Description: Renovation works of an existing warehouse to form a car leasing facility for Merrion Fleet. The work involved the demolition of existing front office block and the construction of a new 2 storey office block. The office block was a steel frame building with pre cast concrete floors. The existing warehouse was completely re-roofed with an internal wall removed to provide for internal car parking. A car polishing booth and car wash was also constructed. The existing car park was completely resurfaced with tarmac, new kerbs and line marking was painted.
Opel Airside, Swords

Description: Construction of a new car showroom for Windsor Motors/Opel Ireland consisting of a car showroom, offices, car servicing facilities and underground car park. The car showroom and offices were a two storey section to the front of the car servicing area consisting of full height glazing on an exposed steel frame with mezzanine offices, tiled floors to showrooms, fully fitted out offices and waiting area and reception desk etc.
