Description: The works involved the complete refurbishment of the existing building to form modern offices for the Oireachtas, including the formation of new toilet and canteen facilities. Restoration and repair of existing lime plaster walls and ceilings and cornices and ceiling roses. Timber floors were up graded for both acoustics and fireproofing. Internal joinery consisted of upgrading existing doors and new doors sets to match existing, new skirting and dados etc. Complete new Mechanical and Electrical services were installed including data, security and CCTV etc. A new lift was installed along with a new lift shaft.
